Matt Koller

Matt Koller is a policy and communications professional who uses his personal experiences and training in environmental management to inspire the conservation of the natural world, and advocate for and implement policies that promote the sustainable use of natural resources.

He has worked on renewable energy policy for the state of California; managed the research, writing, and implementation of a report outlining climate impacts on summer recreation; and written and photographed 50+ articles as a freelance journalist. In a past life, he's worked as a naturalist, a whale-watching guide, and a ski photographer, and draws on his experiences in the outdoors to find creative solutions at the intersection of solutions-based policy and communications.
